Thistledown Farms is located in Columbus Junction in Southeast Iowa. The office location is in town at the Louisa Veterinary Clinic PC. The cattle are located just outside of Columbus City Iowa near the golf course. I bought Jared's two cows from him and the two calves out of them were the Reserve Champion Bull and Heifer at the 2011 World Beef Expo. This year we had the National Grand Champion and Reserve National Grand Champion Bulls. Their pictures are on the Show Results page. American British White Park Cattle are docile, easy keepers that make a great 4H project for beginning cattlemen. They make a great addition to the dinner plate too with good carcass characterics. Heterosis or crossbreeding helps a cow become a better momma and American British White Parks make a great cross for a maternal line of cows.Champion Bulls.
